When using ShieldAuth, you are responsible for:
- Maintaining the security of your device
- Keeping backup codes for your accounts
- Regularly backing up your device
- Using strong passwords and enabling device encryption
Security recommendations
For optimal security when using ShieldAuth:
- Enable FileVault disk encryption on your Mac
- Use a strong login password
- Enable Touch ID if available
- Keep macOS and ShieldAuth updated
- Store backup codes in a secure, separate location
Changes to terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Changes will be reflected on this page with an updated revision date. Continued use of ShieldAuth after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
